Aikyashree Scholarship – Minority Students in West Bengal
Overview & Social Goals
Launched in 2019-20 by WBMDFC, Aikyashree offers a suite of scholarships to minority community students to foster educational inclusion and upliftment
Eligibility Criteria
- West Bengal minority domicile (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, etc.).
- ≥ 50% in prior exam.
- Income ceiling: ₹2 lakh (Pre/Post-Matric), ₹2.5 lakh (MCM)
Benefits
- Pre-Matric: up to ~₹11,000 per year (Classes 9–10).
- Post-Matric: up to ~₹16,500 per year (depending on course, hostel/day scholar).
- MCM (professional courses): up to ₹33,000 per year.
- TSP (talent support): up to ₹4,900 per year.
- SVMCM under Aikyashree: up to ₹60,000 per year
