Job Responsibilities
- Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Design
- Prepare and finalize designs for ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), and WTP (Water Treatment Plant).
- Carry out design calculations and unit sizing.
- Prepare P&ID drawings and ensure specification compliance.
- Tender & Proposal Preparation
- Develop and finalize BOM (Bill of Materials) and BOQ (Bill of Quantities) during pre-bid stages.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals for tenders.
- Estimate costs and assess project feasibility.
- Mechanical Design & Documentation
- Perform 3D modeling, simulation, and design verification testing.
- Create 2D manufacturing drawings and assembly drawings.
- Maintain updated design files and follow departmental documentation standards.
- Project Coordination & Risk Management
- Oversee design projects from concept to delivery.
- Highlight mechanical technical risks to project managers.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of ETP, STP, and WTP systems.
- Proficiency in P&ID preparation, BOM/BOQ finalization, and cost estimation.
- CAD skills for 2D and 3D mechanical design.
- Understanding of manufacturing techniques and drawing standards.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Preferred in Civil/Mechanical with relevant experience in wastewater systems)
- Experience:
- 5–7 years in water/wastewater treatment plant design and calculations.
Salary
- ₹600,000 – ₹800,000 per annum
