Job Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
- Create and maintain technical procedures and standards for mechanical maintenance.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement.
- Oversee maintenance budgets and facility renewal projects.
- Troubleshooting & Reliability
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to reduce downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis of failures and recommend improvements.
- Maintain high-quality maintenance operations, including those handled by contractors.
- Leadership & Mentorship
- Train, mentor, and lead junior maintenance staff.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for mechanical systems.
- Implement departmental policies and development plans.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
- Oversee equipment certifications and validity checks.
- Maintain compliance with industry quality standards.
Required Skills
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in pumps, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Proficiency in CMMS and maintenance planning tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
- Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education:
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 8 years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
